@5.45 you are absolutely right . they are legends and they are the real performers and none including ANR and NTR would even come close to them.Both of them have over and hyper action. even the old holly wood actors can come close to the actors list you mentioned
ANR and NTR were also stars and so had additional responsibility. Had they just been actors like the other great actors, they would be exceptional. It is the same as diff between Rajinikanth and Kamal Hasan..Kamal Hasan is an actor, RajiniKanth is a star.
Bottomline is that people delivered what was expected from them. Appreciate them for what they did!
Great to see here that youngsters still remember Savithri,SVR,Surya Kantham,Satyanarayana etc., When we are educated,we can notice the difference clearly between them and the over action or no action ofothers
Wish we get some new faces soon with decent acting ability and people appreciate them and not their families
NTR's diction and body language suited Mythological movies and Melodramas like Chitti Chellalu,Raktha Sambandham. However, as transition occured in movies, in social pictures(Coloured Social Pictures), his acting appeared to be too hyper. ANR's face wasnt attractive by late 70's or early 80's For example, in Premabhiskeham, ANR was good in second half, but in the first half, it appeared to be to be hyper again. But, he could dance, so people watched the movie and would still watch the movie
Sir in above comments who were using gaddu beside elder ppl's names like NTR, i can't understand with what ethics you were bought up?? please if u don' like those ppl..just try to give some respect to their age. as a telugu ppl we should be knowing how to respect elders atleast
