i think balakrishna is merely doing what the directors/producers wanted him to do without even thinking if it suits to the contemporary sense of the audience. his patrons are mostly common people with very mediocre IQs (labor etc.) and so the directors want to sell crazy moves to them. but educated people use internet to make fun of it. balakrishna was okay in pandurangadu and old movies like bhairava dweepam, baabai abbayi etc. only thing is the audience for new generation movies are more intelligent and he needs to choose his scripts carefully and come out of 80s and 90s uneducated mass fan hangover. otherwise bk is a good actor.

2:57pm: that is what is i (10;09am) am saying too. all those crazy moves are the thoughts of directors with a belief that uneducated mass fans will like it. bk too without thinking if that kind of scenes makes slightly educated people laugh, is doing those roles. accordingly he is getting flops. he should think before accepting to do a role. do u seriously believe that bk thinks he can move a chair by moving his finger or move a train backward by hitting his thighs. it is all the stuff that directors think would make mass audience go berserk but backfired. it is good b gopal got some sense now. also problem with bk is he is not suave and so audience cannot accept him as a software engineer. he needs to find different roles that are not larger than life (read, moronic) like u suggested or like software engineer roles. he should try different roles at this atage, may be, a horror, a scifi like aditya 369, a drama etc. but his fans cannot accept his change of image either. all telugu heroes and industry will get doomed by their fans (keeping aside some temporary advantages with fans).
Finally found some good discussion about BK. And the conversion of the truth is very bad especially reg BK. He stops a train in some movie by praying god.. may be director didn't show the god affect more. However, it has been converted that he stops train by hitting thighs. BK need to learn more about people and society now and start playing good roles.
