Well, i don't know if he'd done that... But he faced many struggles against NTR n ANR who wanna rule Tollywood and had a sharing deal those days.
Krishna brought a change by befriending the lower class and thinking about their well-being(he didn't think that his job is only to do movies but also see that the results are being diverted to the unit members unlike NTR or ANR). These 2 also led a campaign against Chiru when he was upcoming hero in 80s & Krshna supported Chiru initially.
He fought against NTR openly despite NTR being No.1 at that time. He also fought against SP Balu despite the industry's total dependence on him for his singing ability. He hired another singer even though that was a big negative for him personally.
I am not a Babu and neither a Krishna's fan. It's just a general opinion and we don't need to fight for this.

Though he's not good as an actor, he was good as a human being who always wished for his movie unit's well-being. We don't see such actors often.
They only indulge in their self earnings...

Devadas Malliputadu film appudu, he bought all the prints of ANR's Devedas and destroyed them! When ANR went to USA for an operation!
Luckly NTR survived few prints! Eventhough I hate NTR personally, in this issue he acted gud!

I think 03:02 was mistaken with the film.
I heard similar story abt KRishna. This was in 1973 or 76, Krishna acted in a Film called Devadasu with VijayaNirmala as lead.
He want everyone in Adhra to only remember his Devadasu films instead of ANR's! But unfortunatly KRishna Devadasu did not worked well!
This issue is under big speculation at that time! Who knows wat happened!
I watched this movie last week. Not a bad movie. You can watch it for fun and to recollect your past days.
