I cannot begin to understand how they assume India is safer), and even goes as far as saying that this happens at least once in a month. I challenge them. Show me the stats. Where has it happened once in a month? STUPID, STUPID TV9 believes that Indians and particularly Telugus are being targeted. Such a joke.

TV 9 does not even look for the right news. They say that the guy studied in Stratford which is Virginia and he got murdered in Bridgeport which is in CT? thay are about 8 hours away. And how does that matter anyway. Bridgeport is not a safe place to work in the gas stations anyway. Had it been another guy instead of an Indian, he would have faced the same situation. Howwever, with somany Indian Students all around USA, it is more than a common sight to see them working around these odd places for some extra cash. No one to blame because mugging and threatening people for money is a common practice in any place and not just United States. Parents need to warn their children from working in places like this. Students should not take advantage of the freedom they get and focus on what they are here for rather than diverting their minds of earning money. Whatever be it, it is completely a mistake that could have been avoided by listening to friends who could have warned the guy not to work in places where there can be threat. Who is to be blamed now? All in all, TV9 is doing a crappy job of putting this on the news through hosts who cannot even speak telugu properly and who donot do their groundwork on the basic geography of the place where the incident happened. Shame on them for such a cheap way of spreading news to innocent people in India. Screw you TV9. You are cheap and worthless.
Friends I am from Vijayawada. But I live in Texas now. When I open news about Vijayawada, I see that everyday at least 10 people die for any reason. Out of 20 lakhs population 10 people die there. In US out 1.5 crore andhra people hardly 1 person dies. Which place is dangerous. I am not just talking about vijayawada. Any place you take in andhra, its like this. so far i know USA is the safest place of all... media is nothing but mostly junk. but we can't blame them as long as viewers are there. we need to educate people. that starts with us. we shud first know 'common sense' and teach to our younger generations.. that way atleast 'future' is better. itz lot easier to make better future than correcting present.
