Actually for any film "Script" should be the "Hero" but its vice versa, producers assume that if they have this "Hero" then no matter what crap they shoot people will come to watch films.
Its not olden days where cinema was the only entertainment, we have so many other forms of entertainment "TV","Internet"..... In this current generation people will only be willing to pay price to watch a good movie, no one wants to go to crap movie. I guess producers needs to understand this....
Also unless we also start encouraging movies which have good script rather encouraging a movie just based on star cast I don't see that any change in current situation.
Its like catch22 situation, where producers say we are ready to make movies with good script rather than star cast but general public are not willing to watch and general public complain we don't want to watch these big stars movies with baseless same stereotype stories.
audience ni8 batte cinemalu. manchi cinema with no starcast means not in the discussion at all then normal movie goer wont know. and these days, ppl r looking for min entertainment, so going for big movies only.. what i feel
