One thing what i observed in India is everyday a new temple pops up everyday new god pops up. i was witness to one begger sitting on a corner of street leading to durga gudi in vijayawada. he all of a sudden started calling people and pouring drops of water in their hands and telling them it is prasadam. within seconds people started forming a que in front of him and offering puja. placing broken coconuts and bananas in front of him. he was as usual offering his prasadam to the people - only to discover that the prasadam he was offering was from a drainage "Kalava". soon there was too much public and police had to be called. one of the police man has recognised the brand new baba and told the public that he was a mental old man wandering near by since long begging. only then the people has started complaining about the taste of water or prasadam. few started vomiting. the next day eenadu and sakshi has published this issue. that is hinduism. yak - is this a religion. no where in the world has a parallel to this foolishness.
