But my telugu is worst, i tried my best to improve i couldnt.But it dosent mean that i am good at some other language. The only language i know well is telugu. I have been in Canada for many years,but my telugu hasn't been influenced.I speak telugu as I used to in my school days.I can't generalize the fact.May not be the same with everybody. If anyone says his or her mother tongue gets influenced by English or french or any other language for that matter,it is a deliberate attempt to corrupt the basics of one's mother tongue.To put it like this" I speak my mother tongue the way I like,let the people think the way they like" sounds the arrogance, sans humility.(If any anchor says)The anchor needs to have control over skills of the language,besides the semantics.
If anybody wants to work with media as an anchor,the language of the land and its pronunciation and modulation as well as diction should thoroughly understood.
Other wise the anchor must be prepared to receive brickbats not bouquets.

i agree with vbrpuduri. When she is making a show in telugu she should have the language which the local people speak. Can she use the same accent when she is doing a hollywood show like this. They will kick her out. But why does she use the stupid accent or acquired accent in a local telugu show. This is just because she is lot of money and status in the society. She said the targeting audience for the show are IT people. No on in IT industry will like to use that kind language. Only people who are not fully matured and have very little knowledge about society does that. Hope she will realize that soon.
