USA rejected Modi's visiting visa previously because of his in-humane act during the 2002 Gujarat Riots.
Modi as rising power, it is a known fact that he and Nitish Kumar (CM of Bihar) either of them are the PM candidates if incase BJP comes to power and it wuld be awkward for USA to lift the ban on Modi's visa and treat him as a guest..this was what mentioned in the cables..the US embassy official was just cautioning USA.. -------------- I dont think India needs a Modi either. He is dangerous...he wuld kill the secular-democracy term from our constitution if he becomes the PM of India.. Educated and Open minded youth must get into politics and we need to support them..Sadly, until then we just have 2 choices in politics - Bad or Worse

Right from Nanavathi commission to NHRC, none of them could implicate Modi for the religious violence. Infact, Nanavathi commission commended the Gujarat state govt for its unbiased prosecution of the perpetrators be they muslims or hindus. Those who were responsible for killing innocent muslims are being convicted. And all so called liberals should know that this is happening under Modi's regime. I am afraid I dont agree with your contention that Modi is dangerous. For me that fit for nothing Rahul Gandhi and his family are more dangerous. Why isnt anybody talking about Rahul Gandhi's comments on Hindus that were leaked by the same wikileaks?
