@1:09PM, we're not encouraging because we like this kind of thing or because we're heartless. We're only saying this is the solution that family found in their particularly difficult circumstances.
And no, there is no point imagining 1 girl with 2 husbands because it's not the same thing. India is a patriarchal society and a man never suffers for dignity as a woman does. No one gossips about a man who doesn't want to marry or remarries or is a widower, but a woman in the same circumstances is constantly heckled by society.
