I live in the U.S and teens of some of my deeply religious Christian colleagues found love in college and married when they were still 18-19. One couple had their baby at 20, while both husband and wife were in college. They got married with parents blessings and moved from dorms to an apartment on-campus. Nothing changed for them. Parents paid some of their tuition even after the wedding, they earned the rest with part-time jobs and all is well. Marrying high-school sweethearts is not uncommon in the U.S.
HOWEVER, it all depends on the maturity and commitment of the couple. So the question is not about age. One can find love in high-school too. For example, our grandparents married in their teens and they did ok. According to puranas, brahmacharya usually ends at 18 and at 18 one either marries and becomes a householder or becomes a celibate because at 18 sexual urges peak.
So the questions should be 1. are they mature enough to deal with the consequences? 2. are they ready to live independently without financial and emotional support from parents? 3. are they ready to sacrifice a part of their personal ambitions for their marriage? For today's generation the answer to all three questions is a big NO. So it is pointless to call it love. It is lust or desire. anthe.

forget teenage love. in our movies, they are showing love between hero and heroine right from age 5 or 6 (example, watch rachcha etc.). do any of you guys know what is love when u were 5 or 6 years of age?
@11;29, you are absolutely correct..but in teenage most of them don;t get maturity to take decisions, they don;t even now the consequences that occur and many..they only watch movies and happy endings (mainly dumb tejas movies) and india its unlike US,if we marry in teenage we don;t get financial support, to do part time jobs. there is heavy unemployment prob in india..even well educated are struggling to get a job..
coming to the parenst case..in indian society not even accepting matured love..their main concern is caste..there is lot of casteism in india..funking casteism should go off..
teenage boys and girls should know that there is lot of future..there will be many choices in life..don;t struck in that phase of life..

I fell in love when i was 15, got married, when i was 23. I think its nothing wrong if we fall in love, only thing is we have to know our limits.
Every person's thinking is diff, teenage lone kadhu, adults ayyaka, before marriage abortions chesukone vaala count ekkuva untadhi.
No one can stop if we really like some one. But education and parents friendly ga undatam are imp.
