@Matt Pachi: dude, i admire u as u r posting comments without disguising as anonymous. but as far as reservations are concerned, they were introduced as a result of peaceful proposition by ambedkar. he wanted to have reservations until 1957 (for 10 years) so that the so called backward caste people would develop and then equal themselves with other classes in the society. after he died, selfish politicians kept extending them for votes and now we have reservations even after 65 years of independence. it is like insulting the backward classes on their face saying that you guys cannot develop even after 65 years. reservations are good in one sense but they also have negative effects in a developing economy.
No Ambedkar said Reservations should be there until dalits are socially and economically equal, so far 65 yrs happened but there is no equality... don't worry you still have 85% of seats for you... you have suppressed 80% of people but gave only 15% reservations...
