@8.34 you are absolutely right.Its impossible to see NTR from 1970 onwards terrible over action and ugly looking too. I really wonder how could we watched his movies. I sometimes feel, if any one say that he is a great actor , I cant believe. I think the audience had no brains in encouraging NTR and ANR in those days.After 1970 both of them should have been retired
So, it seems that young telugu people mostly dislike the so called legends of Tollywood like Ntr,Anr, Krishna,Chiru,etc., as they seem to be doing it just for the sake of fans and not natural action.
Surprisingly, they like B/W movies of them which have some originality & decency. Interesting! Fans & fame spoiled heroes & their movies indeed.

True. NTR black and white movies super especially devotional movies. color movies bharinchatam kastam. i felt the same with Adavi ramudu also.
I agree with you all..he is some what better in B/W moview...but still I feel, its over action 2-3 times more action than required.
The same over action works better for "Powranika" chitraalu. That's the reason, we feel he is better suite for the "Powranika" movies only.
Its my perception.

but his movies in 70's and 80's including DVSK are terrible and over the top
