Lakshmi, I really appreciate your shows and your hard work. But I honestly think you have to speak normal telugu without american accent in it. I have working in North America for 7 years. I have an american english accent too. But my telugu is still normal. I honestly advise you to speak normal telugu andd see how many more people will appreciate you. After all the hard work you are putting in, I don't want other people to make fun of you just because of your funny accent. I am sure you can change it if you want to.

Lachi, i have studied and lived longer in the U.S, but i still speak unaccented Telugu. You did not grow up in the states. You've lived in India much, much longer than in the U.S. So you cannot have forgotten how to speak your mother tongue. Your English skills are barely adequate; your vocabulary is not significant. You live in India now, so it's not even like you're compelled to assimilate into American society with your fake accent. Even Gandhi, Nehru and the like had lived abroad longer than you have and returned to India with the command of their mother tongue unsullied and intact. You're not fooling anyone but yourself. We all consider ourselves as well educated, well mannered, decent and broad minded ppl. But when I read some comments ppl use bad words. I feel very bad and why ppl do not use proper language and words. May be we do not know each other faces and we can write what ever we feel. We should be sincere and decent to ourselves all the time. We behave and show up like this only in front of ppl. Be loyal and truthful to yourself first.
