Koti seems overconfident. Even the great Ilayaraja and Keeravani couldn't survive(audience didn't like it or their music didn't enhance movie's success) in the present set of movies. So, God knows if they can succeed. Ilayaraja is a legend always.
@6.03 ilayaraja is a genius. he is a learned carnatic music professional and a gold medalist from london music school in western music. he might have used some tunes as an inspiration very rarely but he is in a different level than rahman, manisarma, raj-koti, dsp, thaman etc. i agree with you. ilayaraja has to be compared with kv mahadevan, rd burman etc. not with rahman and keeravani etc.
