Outrageous. Who is the pilot to decide? There are laws in this country. It is illegal to deny service based on disability. When overly obese people and elderly people in wheelchairs can travel, why cant this person.

Don't over react there could be a reason or more to it than what is being reported.

In India every unworthy fellow who works in airports and government offices try to show their power by being mean and showing attitude like this, he dont have any right to stop this lady once the checkin was done. He might have looked her outer appearance and thought this lady is handicaped and cant do any thing, just see her knoledge and excelency in her words, its so clear that she capable not only for travel but as intelectual too. and see her hand writing, dont know when our people stop giving importance to people by looking outer appearance.

@11:21 exactly. My aunt has a medical problem and she is overweight. Not even obese like people here in the US. But when she went to board the plane, the fellows who load the luggage made comments on her. She is a highly accomplished person and well-educated. Even the bathroom cleaning fellows at the airport mistreat people.

For some reason we think that if people are not "traditionally" good looking, we assume that they are stupid or deserve to be disrespected. But thats not the case. Disabled pppl have amazing skills that u n I lack. Just go and youtube and u will see sooo many.

With regard to this incident, pilots think they are God's in India. recently I read a story about a pilots abusing and raping airhostess.
