oscars are not given for local/regional excellence in computer graphics. if it is a hollywood movie, they might give oscars to a lot of junk but "usually" under the foreign movie category, they are given to movies that address current socio-economic or political issues. eega is just an unoriginal, fantasy, revenge story.
