Both ANR and his son Nag are the average actors,but they got the prominence many times more than what they actually deserve. There were many actors many times more talented than ANR did not stand because of crafty ways of ANR. A wretched fellow full of hypocrisy,arrogance and highhandedness. The fun is,no one knows them in North India.

Akkinenis are hypocrites.They do not want to go against their own community,they tactfully support the GOVT and get their due intelligently.They hold the umbrella as per the sunlight.
the above comments are absolutely true. but for ghantasala, nageswara rao would have been in oblivion. He is not a great actor . he is just average actor only( full of hype, over melody and most unnatural and not natural at all like svr,savitri or suryakantam). but due to handling things he got prominence. I dont consider Nagarjuna as actor at all. as rightly pointed above but for his father no body would notice him now. I fully agree with vanisree's comments about ANR

I think SVR, Savitri,Relangi and Suryakantham are natural actors of Tollywood. NTR developed with experience & hard work over a period.
We need talented actors not families.
