@Matti - in a rarest of occasions I agree with you. (FYI. I am Brahmin). Due to man-made superstitions and prejudices - Hindustan has lost many talented harijans (dalits) .
Lately I am reading Vedas - all they talk about is the purpose of life, philosophy, science and mathematics etc. They didn't even mention any god name as such. But in the name of such scriptures we have oppressed a mass community.

I am happy for him but what is puzzling me is that he still working on wave theory. Isn't wave theory obsoleted by string theory?

@1:28 pm I appreciate, at least you agreed what went wrong instead of saying well in every other country the shit happened.

@1:28pm He is definitely inspirational, but his claims in physics are very optimistic at best. he is not aware of the latest research in quantum field theories and all......

@Matt its true brahmins fucked up the system they built, but thats how human societies get corrupt with time..what has today's brahmins to do with it ??

This guy is an isolated case of utilization of reservation. But to get into an iit in open category is really tough, and the quality of reservation students at iits is pathetic...you should see that to talk about it...I am not saying they are dumb, but since admission criteria is so low for them,
they stop working hard.

Prasada Rao with all his high principles, encouraged his son to use reservation, after all. Reservation is meant for people from lower economic communities, but not for established families like his.

On the other hand some of my friends from reservation communities waived off reservation, contested in general category and came out with exceptionally good jee ranks, and are doing quite well even now.

@ 2:03 AM
They need to use their reservations. It is not fair that privileged Harijans compete in open quote and under-privileged in reservation quote. Let them use reservation irrespective of their status and talent.

thatz exactly what is bugging our country!! we need to put an end to all kinds of reservations! by that I mean right from subsidized petrol prices to Lpg cylinders..reservations are a platform for under privileged and socially backward people to compete with the more fortunate classes. But it has not been used properly, and few fortunate ones have repeatedly raped the system.

Dude if you are giving reservations for the uplifment why do you worry about IAS son using it. basically you want to kill a portion of it and eventually the seats will empty because villagers and tribals cannot even get pass so that you take those reserved seats, that's your plan.

In this case prasad rao son is talented he got not every Dr son becoming Dr. only in rare cases this is happening...

Just you guys want to dilute and push the people backward again.. whats wrong if a Dalit holding bigger positions...? do you think they are not Indians...

Your basic intention come up with silly argument get some mileage, get some support because people like are there in India who cannot handle the success of a DALIT, so eventually you want put some water on the fire.
